JOB DETAILS:

Role Overview:

To serve as an academic pediatrician, providing clinical care, teaching, and research in child health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric care, including neonatal intensive care if qualified.
• Teach pediatrics and child health to medical students and residents.
• Conduct research in child nutrition, infectious diseases, neonatology, adolescent health, or pediatric cardiology.
• Supervise clinical rotations and simulation training.
• Engage in child health advocacy, immunization programs, and community outreach.
• Participate in pediatric mortality reviews and quality improvement.

Requirements:

• MMed in Paediatrics; subspecialty training a plus.
• PhD or research background preferred.
• Mandatory GPA: Master’s (MMed) GPA ≥ 4.0; Bachelor’s (MBBS/MD) GPA ≥ 3.5.
• Clinical teaching experience.
• Passion for improving child health outcomes.
