Duties and Responsibilities
i. To type letters, reports, and confidential or secret documents;
ii. To receive guests, listen to their concerns, and explain how they can be assisted;
iii. To maintain records of events, appointments, meeting dates, the schedules of their supervisor, and other work schedules;
iv. To search for files and documents required for the execution of work duties;
v. To receive files and distribute them to the relevant Officers in the Department/Unit/Section;
vi. To collect, maintain, and return files and documents to the relevant sections;
vii. To prepare minutes and make preparations for various meetings;
viii. To prepare a list of office equipment requirements; and
ix. To perform any other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Qualifications
Candidates must be Form Four or Form Six graduates with a Diploma in Office Management (Uhazili) or an NTA Level 6 certificate in Office Management. Additionally, they must have passed a shorthand (stenography) subject in Kiswahili and English at a speed of 100 words per minute and be proficient in office computer software such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher from any institution recognized by the Government.
