Role Overview:
To lead teaching and research in Medical Microbiology, Immunology, Virology, and Infectious Diseases, focusing on local and global health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach microbiology, immunology, and infectious diseases to medical, laboratory, and public health students.
- Conduct research in antimicrobial resistance, vaccine development, host-pathogen interactions, diagnostic methods, or immunopathology.
- Supervise graduate students and technical staff.
- Collaborate with clinical, public health, and reference laboratories.
- Participate in infection control committees and outbreak investigations.
- Develop laboratory manuals and biosafety protocols.
Requirements:
- PhD role: PhD in Microbiology, Immunology, or related field; strong research portfolio.
- Master’s role: Master’s in Microbiology or Immunology.
- Mandatory GPA: Master’s GPA ≥ 4.0; Bachelor’s GPA ≥ 3.5.
- Expertise in microbiological, serological, molecular, and immunological techniques.
- Record of peer-reviewed publications and grant acquisition.
