MEDICAL DOCTOR

Job Summary

The Medical Doctor will provide comprehensive medical care to patients through clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and follow-up while maintaining high standards of professionalism and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and medical assessments.
• Diagnose illnesses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer treatment within professional scope and guidelines.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment where necessary.
• Request and interpret relevant laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
• Provide emergency medical care when required.
• Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare facilities when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Provide health education and counselling to patients and their families.
• Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary clinical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards.
• Support continuous quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine or equivalent recognised medical qualification.
• Valid professional registration and practising licence.
• Previous clinical experience is an advantage.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ethical, compassionate, and patient-centred care.
