Medical Attendant

Job Description:
The Medical Attendant will support healthcare professionals in providing basic patient care and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients. The role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with basic daily care and mobility needs.
• Support nurses and other healthcare professionals in patient care activities.
• Assist with transferring and positioning patients safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and order within patient care areas.
• Transport patients, specimens, equipment, and medical supplies as directed.
• Assist with preparation of patients for examinations and procedures.
• Report patients' concerns or changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Follow hospital safety, hygiene, and infection-control procedures.
