Jubaili Agrotec is a dynamic and growing agribusiness company engaged in seeds, agro-inputs, livestock, and crop solutions. The company is seeking qualified, innovative, and results-driven professionals to join its team as Marketing Agronomists.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote agricultural products and solutions.
- Provide agronomic support and technical guidance to farmers, distributors, agro-dealers, and customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, field visits, and farmer training sessions to enhance product awareness and usage.
- Provide technical assistance and product knowledge support to customers and counter sales staff to improve Jubaili products’ performance and market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agro-dealers, farmers, and key business partners.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, customer preferences, pricing trends, and market opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Monitor product performance and prepare reports on stock movement, new products, and underperforming products.
- Support retail sales initiatives and ensure assigned targets for new product promotion are achieved.
- Prepare regular field activity, sales support, and market feedback reports for management review.
- Rotation Program
- The successful candidates will be based in Dar es Salaam and will be required to rotate across all Jubaili Agrotec branches. Each rotation assignment will be for a period of not less than two (2) months in each branch, based on business needs, operational requirements, and training objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, Agribusiness, or related field.
- Proven experience in agricultural marketing, agronomy, sales support, or field extension services.
- Strong knowledge of crops, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and modern farming practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, travel extensively, and meet assigned targets.
- Good organizational and customer relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work in different branch locations as assigned.
