Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Maintenance Manager to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our property. You will lead the maintenance team in repairing equipment, overseeing renovations, and executing preventive maintenance programs. Your passion for excellence will ensure our guests always enjoy a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee all maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all hotel assets (guest rooms, kitchen equipment, public areas).
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Manage and train the maintenance team, assigning daily tasks and projects.
• Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or renovation projects.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and supplies, ordering as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related trade.
• Proven experience in maintenance, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a significant advantage (understanding guest room standards and the urgency of hotel repairs).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for maintaining a pristine property.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or holidays for emergencies.
