Position Description
Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a LV Maintenance Planner Preparing Daily maintenance Reports on defects reported and acted upon according to their priority and equipment ready for production, Scheduling Equipment for Maintenance and ensure Equipment's availability and reliability maintained to OEM, Creating and Completing Work Orders- Authorize maintenance work ,Parts procurement and maintenance records keeping, Ordering Equipment's Parts- Minimizing equipment downtime and Maintaining availability, Keeping maintenance history for reference, Ensuring work is performed according to Barrick standards and data entered into the CMMS (Pronto) is accurate, Restoring and maintaining equipment's to Original Equipment Manufacturers Specification(OEMS) ready for production, Highlight equipment due for planned maintenance and resources available to carry out the tasks, Control and monitor maintenance cost and maximize production, Work information status and safety issues are conveyed to the incoming relief planner as per shift assignment in accordance with Barrick health and safety standards and procedures.

Report to: HME Planning Foreman
Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Comply with all site safety and environmental standards, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure safe work practices by reporting incidents/accidents and making sure total adherence to all Safety, Occupational Health, AND Environment Policies, as well as other policies, procedures, and guidelines, and proper use of required/mandatory PPEs.
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and update maintenance manuals for Electrical Sections
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/quarter and annual maintenance reports with accurate information and on time.
- Compile, update, and distribute backlog reports and other mandated control reports.
- Maintain database and report on tracking work completion, scheduled vs unscheduled, and other metrics to track and improve overall maintenance performance.
- Create accurate plans for scheduling and manpower forecasting for weekly/ monthly and long-term maintenance schedulers.
- Manage the maintenance system, including data quality, and ensure improvement for the system.
- Monitor and measure Electrical costs and adjust planning accordingly.
- Analyse trends in equipment maintenance needs, including breakdown, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, MTBF, and MTTR.
- In collaboration with other team members, review and prioritize electrical work requests.
- Plan for all preventive maintenance and shutdown activities and ensure plans are adequately resourced.
- Organize and conduct pre- and post-shutdown meetings involving all stakeholders and ensure inputs are captured and communicated for review before and after shutdown.
- Ensure the maintenance management strategies for spare parts, planned maintenance tasks, and planned outages increase electrical reliability.
- Identify and manage the inventory level of critical spares and work closely with the supply chain Department to ensure parts availability and durability.
- Measure and report on maintenance planning Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and compute MTBF and MTTR for critical equipment as suggested.
- Maintain electrical integrity and availability, ensuring that parts lists are documented, and Bill of Materials (BOM) are completed
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution/University.
- Must have a valid driving license.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- 3-5 Years’ Experience in Maintenance Planning in a Construction/ Mining Company
- Five (5) years’ experience in the mining industry
- Experience in the use of a computerized maintenance database system
- Experience in dealing with Multicultural orientations
