1. TIPER hereby invites via National Competitive Bidding (NCB) eligible to bid for the Provision of Annual Civil and Building Maintenance Works.
2. Eligible bidders are reputable civil and building contractors locally registered by the Contractors Registration Board (CRB)as Class V and above with at least 5 years of experience working with reputable organizations.
3. Bidders who don’t meet condition stated in line 2 above are not eligible to bid for this tender.
4. Interested and eligible bidders may request an electronic copy of the tender document by sending their request letters through the following email: procurement@tiper.co.tz from date 13 March, 2024 to 26 March 2024 from Tuesday to Saturday, between 8:00 A.M.OA.M. to 4:00 P.M.
5. Bidders MUST visit the site before bidding. The site visit will be conducted on Monday 18 March, 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:30 am
local time.
7. During the site visit all bidders will be required to come with their own PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) which meets TIPER standards. This includes Steel Toe Safety Boots, Cotton Overcoat, and helmets. Static Reflective vests are not allowed onto site. Bidders without PPE will not be allowed onto the site.
8. Bids MUST be submitted in hard copies only in envelopes sealed with postal seals or fire seals. Softcopies of bids should submit via a USB flash driver embedded in the hardcopies of bid submitted. No bid should be submitted by email.
9. All bids submitted in plain sealed envelopes in one original plus one copy, properly filled and marked TENDER NO. TP/03/2024/ NCB/W/006 FOR PROVISION OF ANNUAL CIVIL AND BUILDING MAINTENANCE WORKS. All bids must be delivered physically to; The Secretary, Tender Committee, Tanzania International Petroleum Reserves Limited (TIPER), P.0. Box 2608, Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam.
10. The deadline for submission of Tender documents will be 00 P.M. local time on 27 March, 2024.
11. There shall be NO public opening of bids.
12. Late bids, a portion of bids, and electronic bids will not be considered for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
13. TIPER is not bound to accept the lowest or any bid.
