Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, electronic, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
  • Calibrate instruments according to standards for accurate and efficient use.
  • Check the integrity and accuracy of instruments such as flowmeters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, and weigh scales.
  • Disassemble instruments, examine mechanisms, clean parts, and replace worn or broken components.
  • Disconnect inaccurate or damaged instruments and execute suitable replacements.
  • Conduct scheduled inspections of instruments and make necessary adjustments to those not functioning correctly; clean, dust, and verify integrity via testing apparatus.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Education: Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in the manufacturing/extractive industry
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical maintenance operations and equipment, Knowledge in Electrical and Electronics
  • Behavioral Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, Proficiency in MS Office applications
