We’re currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to oversee people, administration, and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor, immigration, and statutory regulations (NSSF, PSSF, WCF, SDL, OSHA).
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, induction, and workforce planning.
  • Lead employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
  • Oversee training needs analysis, staff development, and performance reviews.
  • Supervise administration staff and ensure effective support services.
  • Handle work permits, residence permits, business visas, visitor invitations, and guest accommodations.
  • Manage office facilities, utilities, and supplier contracts.
  • Support HR digitization, dashboards, and HRIS initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR or Administrative professional certification (CIPD/SHRM) is an added advantage.
  • 6-8 years’ HR and administration experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and immigration requirements.
  • Experience in a logistics environment is preferred.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong HR and admin management capability.
  • Knowledge of work permits, visas, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, SAP, and MS Office.
