JOB DETAILS:

Job Overview:
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and managing the restaurant's seating and reservation system efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the reservation book.
• Escort guests to their tables, distribute menus, and inform them of their server.
• Manage the waitlist during busy periods and provide accurate wait-time estimates.
• Answer phone calls and manage reservation inquiries professionally.
• Bid farewell to guests and invite them to return.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
• Coordinate with waitstaff and management on table status and guest flow.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Host/Hostess in a fine-dining environment is preferred.
• Fluent English speaking skills are required (non-negotiable).
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Pleasant, professional, and welcoming demeanor.
• Professional appearance is mandatory.
• Ability to remain calm and organized during peak hours.
• Basic computer skills for managing reservations.
