Role Overview

ROAR Capital is seeking an experienced Head of Operations – Advertising to oversee and optimize the full operational lifecycle of Out-of-Home (OOH) and Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) assets. This role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence from site acquisition and construction through installation, monitoring, maintenance, and eventual decommissioning.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring asset reliability, regulatory compliance, innovation, and seamless campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Asset Management

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of OOH and DOOH assets, including maintenance programs, technical standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure high asset uptime through performance monitoring, rapid fault resolution, and accurate asset and inventory tracking.
  • Oversee structural integrity, power systems, connectivity, and environmental compliance across all sites.

DOOH Technology & Innovation

  • Lead DOOH technology operations, including CMS platforms, content delivery systems, remote diagnostics, and automation tools.
  • Drive innovation in DOOH formats, data integration, audience measurement, targeting capabilities, and emerging advertising technologies.

Projects & Installations

  • Oversee major installation projects, upgrades, relocations, and decommissioning activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required technical and quality standards.

Commercial & Stakeholder Support

  • Support the Sales function by ensuring reliable asset availability, flawless campaign execution, and yield optimization.
  • Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and compliance.

Leadership & Governance

  • Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams across multiple sites.
  • Enforce safety, quality, and operational governance standards across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 6–10 years’ experience in asset-intensive, multi-site operations such as OOH/DOOH media, telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, or similar sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in operations leadership, vendor management, and maintenance optimization.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical environments and cross-functional teams.
