Responsibilities or duties

Lead the full HR function: recruitment, performance management, employee relations and statutory compliance.

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and the company HR Manual.

Manage recruitment end-to-end: advertising, interviewing, onboarding and contract issuance.

Conduct monthly performance assessments and manage Performance Improvement Plans.

Handle all disciplinary and grievance matters in line with Tanzanian labour law

Oversee payroll inputs, statutory contributions (NSSF, WCF, PAYE) and labour compliance

Supervise the HR Officer and all HR administrative staff.

Submit weekly and monthly HR reports to the Managing Director.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labour law and ELRA 2004.

CIPD, SHRM or equivalent certification is an advantage.

High integrity, confidentiality and professional maturity.

Excellent written and verbal communication in Swahili and English

Experience needed

Minimum 3 years in relevant HR roles.

Not less than 2 years served at the same company

Age: 30 years and above.
