JOB DETAILS:

Role Overview:

To provide surgical care, teach surgical principles and skills, and conduct research in surgical sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general surgical procedures and patient management.
• Teach surgery to medical students and surgical residents.
• Conduct research in surgical outcomes, minimally invasive surgery, trauma care, surgical oncology, or gastrointestinal surgery.
• Supervise surgical skills labs and simulation training.
• Participate in surgical safety, quality improvement, and clinical audits.
• Engage in emergency surgical services and on-call duties.

Requirements:

• MMed in General Surgery; fellowship training a plus.
• PhD or research background preferred.
• Mandatory GPA: Master’s (MMed) GPA ≥ 4.0; Bachelor’s (MBBS/MD) GPA ≥ 3.5.
• Surgical teaching and mentoring experience.
• Commitment to ethical and evidence-based surgical practice.

Work Hours: 8

Level of Education: postgraduate degree
