Role Overview:
To provide surgical care, teach surgical principles and skills, and conduct research in surgical sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general surgical procedures and patient management.
- Teach surgery to medical students and surgical residents.
- Conduct research in surgical outcomes, minimally invasive surgery, trauma care, surgical oncology, or gastrointestinal surgery.
- Supervise surgical skills labs and simulation training.
- Participate in surgical safety, quality improvement, and clinical audits.
- Engage in emergency surgical services and on-call duties.
Requirements:
- MMed in General Surgery; fellowship training a plus.
- PhD or research background preferred.
- Mandatory GPA: Master’s (MMed) GPA ≥ 4.0; Bachelor’s (MBBS/MD) GPA ≥ 3.5.
- Surgical teaching and mentoring experience.
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-based surgical practice.
