Megra Polyclinic has been providing healthcare services since 2013 under the commitment “Your Health is Our Concern.” The facility is looking for a professional and friendly Front Desk Officer/Receptionist to support patients and visitors while ensuring smooth front-office operations.

Job Responsibilities

The Front Desk Officer/Receptionist will be expected to:

  • Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and other clients professionally.
  • Receive and respond to enquiries at the reception desk.
  • Direct patients and visitors to the appropriate departments or healthcare professionals.
  • Handle incoming calls and provide accurate information.
  • Assist with appointment scheduling and reception-related administrative duties.
  • Maintain a professional and organized reception area.
  • Support patient registration and related front-office procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling patient and organizational information.
  • Perform other reception and customer service duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

  • A Certificate or Diploma in Receptionist studies, Hotel Management, Customer Service, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • At least one year of experience working as a receptionist in a hotel, hospital, or similar environment.

Personal Qualifications and Skills

Candidates should have:

  • Fluency in English and Swahili.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A professional and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
