Forex Manager

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

• Lead and oversee daily forex outlet operations.
• Ensure accurate, efficient, and timely currency exchange transactions.

2. Inventory & Liquidity Management

• Monitor foreign currency inventory and cash holdings.
• Supervise teller operations to maintain liquidity and operational accuracy.

3. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with Bank of Tanzania regulations.
• Enforce Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements and internal company policies.

4. Reporting & Reconciliation

• Maintain accurate transaction records and reconciliations.
• Provide regular operational and financial reports to senior management.

5. Operational Optimization

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, increase revenue, and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail forex operations or a forex bureau.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory, back-office, or managerial role.
