JOB DETAILS:
Farm Manager (4 Positions)
Department: Agriculture / Operations
Reports to: Operations Director
Job Summary:
The Farm Manager is responsible for the overall management of agricultural production. This includes supervising farm workers, managing crop/livestock cycles, maintaining equipment, and ensuring maximum yield and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and direct farm operations (planting, irrigation, harvesting, feeding, etc.).
- Supervise and train farm staff and laborers.
- Monitor crop/livestock health and implement pest/disease control measures.
- Manage farm budgets, inventory, and supplies.
- Maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Keep accurate records of production, costs, and yields.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or Animal Science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in farm management.
- Strong knowledge of modern farming techniques and mechanization.
- Leadership skills and the ability to work in rural/remote environments.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: associate degree
