Job Purpose:

To install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and instrumentation throughout the Dar es Salaam facility to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical panels, motors, VFDs, PLCs, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagrams, multimeters, and other testing instruments.
• Install new electrical systems and equipment in compliance with national wiring codes.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Support the maintenance team during machine breakdowns and installations.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations (including Lock-Out Tag-Out).
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance activities and spare parts used.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full Technician Certificate (FTC) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Valid wireman's license from the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) or relevant body.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in manufacturing.
