Job Description (Responsibilities)

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in production equipment and plant systems.
  • Install, test, and commission electrical components, wiring, motors, control panels, and related systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential faults and safety risks.
  • Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and support production teams in restoring operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts used.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety procedures, standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in electrical improvement and equipment modification projects.
  • Work closely with mechanical and production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Participate in planned shutdowns, maintenance activities, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, PLCs, and industrial machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to equipment breakdowns.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be safety-conscious, disciplined, and able to work shifts when required.
