Watoto Foundation Tanzania is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and passionate Eco-Organic Farm Teacher/Manager (age 30–40) to lead the growth and operation of our 7.5-acre eco-organic farm in a fully irrigated and scenic environment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact by promoting sustainable farming and training future generations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and teach staff (former students and external groups)
  • Establish and manage an eco-organic farm using sustainable, regenerative practices
  • Oversee crop planning, soil health, irrigation, and pest control

  • Supervise and mentor staff and students in organic farming techniques
  • Maintain farm records using computer software
  • Promote environmental conservation and long-term soil fertility
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the foundation’s mission

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in organic/sustainable farming
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic
  • Added advantage: Residing near Usa River or willing to live at the Foundation’s teacher accommodation
