Job Summary
Inspire HR Consultancy on behalf of our esteemed client in manufacturing industry we are looking for Demand Planner to join supply chain team will work closely with the Sales team to develop accurate demand forecasts and ensure timely alignment of production, material requirements, and dispatch plans. Serving as a key link between sales, production, and supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities
~ Develop accurate statistical forecasts and continuously improve forecast accuracy.
~ Liaise with Sales and Marketing teams to gather business intelligence for demand planning.
~ Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to balance sales and production priorities.
~ Ensure availability of finished goods through effective coordination with production planners.
~ Monitor, track, and report forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and adherence to production plans.
~ Manage minimum stock balances, safety stock policies, and supplier lead times to avoid stockouts.
~ Drive process improvements, implement planning tools/ERP systems, and ensure master data accuracy.
Key Qualifications
~ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
~ Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in a similar roles
~ Proven experience in manufacturing or consumer goods industries.
~ Strong ERP system knowledge – SAP ERP mandatory (experience with SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or O9 is an added advantage).
~ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
~ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
