CREDIT ANALYST (2 POSITIONS)

MICROFINANCE | DAR ES SALAAM

Responsibilities

• Analyze loan applications & evaluate clients’ financial statements, credit history, & repayment capacity.

• Conduct detailed credit risk assessments & provide well-supported recommendations for loan approval or rejection.

• Verify financial information & ensure all supporting documents comply with company policies & regulatory requirements.

• Prepare comprehensive credit appraisal reports with accurate findings & risk analysis.

• Monitor loan portfolios, identify potential credit risks, & recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate with Loan Officers & other departments to ensure efficient credit processing & timely decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Strong experience in credit analysis, lending, or financial services.

• Strong analytical & financial assessment skills.

• Knowledge of credit risk management & lending policies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).

• Excellent communication & report writing skills.

• High level of integrity, attention to detail, & ability to work under pressure.
