Responsibilities
- Monitor New GPS installations and checkup/device replacement information and post them into the system daily.
- Check all new devices working properly and co-ordinate with the vendor/technical team.
- Daily reporting of GPS installations & Device check/device replacements.
- Monitor the alerts and non-responsive devices on a real-time basis and coordinate with vendor/field recovery team as necessary.
- Coordinate and follow-up with internal team to ensure rectification and root cause analysis of vehicle GPS not responsive, as well as vehicles that send other actionable alerts.
- Immobilize the vehicles when needed and based on requests from superiors or as per the SOP – if immobilizer was installed.
- Provide support to the technicians, supervisors and unit head whenever required.
- Generate and send the periodical reports and control room related reports as per the request and requirement of the operations & management team.
- Support to field coordinator on allocation of technicians and ensure smooth operation
- Proactive and flexibility to manage and multitask, wherever needed and be innovative
- Go to Market - whenever Required with Technician, GPS Service provider or with recovery team.
- Periodic visits to Plant and vendor to ensure checks and balances and provide guidance related to GPS.
- Maintain record for all GPS and relay inwards and outwards, ensure to publish the report on a weekly basis
- Create Geo fencing for all vehicles, ensure alerts and critical matters are reported to the management
- Prepare offline device reports on daily basis for Morning and Evening, ensure coordination to get the GPS online.
- Respond to customers, agents
- Monitor all GPS are working online, in case of technical or device issue make arrangements to get it checked (repair or replacements need to be done).
- Open to having flexible and job rotation, movement and responsive to assigned tasks, taking critical matters with sound decision-making skills
Install GPS devices: Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles as required, ensuring proper functionality.
Conduct checkups and troubleshooting: Perform regular checkups and troubleshoot devices that are not generating data to ensure optimal performance.
Assist with root cause analysis: Support the tracking team in identifying and analyzing the root causes of technical issues related to GPS devices.
Report device tampering: Notify customers and supervisors immediately if any tampering with devices is detected.
Collect equipment from the office: Gather configured GPS devices, SIM cards, and necessary accessories from the office prior to installations.
Complete job cards: Fill out job cards with required details, obtain necessary signatures for installations and checkups, and submit them accordingly.
Inform relevant teams: Communicate new installations and checkup details to the control room and technical team to keep everyone updated.
Customer Service: Contacting clients and organizing trackers’ service and/or replacement for the bikes whose trackers are malfunctioning.
Analysis: Assist the Tracking team in the root cause analysis of reported issues, highlight any device tampering issues to Tracking supervisor, HOD & Tracking team
Share installation updates: Provide installation information to tracking supervisors and unit heads for better coordination.

Confidentiality: Delivering the highest-level professional service to the Company clients while keeping tracker’s installation and service information strictly confidential
Maintain toolkits and inventory: Keep toolkits organized and maintain accurate inventory records of all equipment and accessories.
