JOB DETAILS:
Shell Exploration and Production Tanzania limited (SEPT),a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell Pcl, is the operstor of the deep-water Blocks 1 and 4, offshore Tanzania. Following successful exploration and appraisal cammpaign, alarge enough quantity of gas has been discovered to underpin an LNG project. Before further technical work will be undertake, a comercial frame work for the LNG project needs to be agreed between the investors (of Blocks 1 & 4 and Block 2) and the Government.

We seek a Tanzanian natioanal to fill the senior position of Commercial Strategy Manager

The commercial team in Tanzania working closely with the legal function drives and executes the SEPT business strategy, under guidance of the VP East Africa and Decision Review Board. Together with the Governent Relations (GR) and External Relations (ER) teams, it maintains the relationship with the government and its organs, slaying abreast of external options while shaping internal strategy and direction toward reaching an investiment decision on the Tanzania LNG project. The team service as the knowledge base for understanding the deal space between te investors' project requirements and government objectives and aspirations.

The commercial strategy manager is a new position in the commercial team that will work closely with the GR and ER teams for the business evironment analysis.
