JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for a Chief Steward to lead our stewarding team. You will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen areas and equipment.
Responsibilities or duties
- Supervise the stewarding team (cleaners/dishwashers).
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, pots, pans, and utensils are cleaned and stored properly.
- Manage the dishwashing area and ensure it runs efficiently.
- Control cleaning supplies and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Previous experience in a stewarding or cleaning supervisory role.
- A certificate, Form IV and above. A certificate in Hotel Management is an added advantage.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: high school
