Descriptions

We are seeking a talented Central & Southern Highlands Area Sales officer whose purpose is to maximize our brand presence and sales through formal and informal trade channels within the cluster.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products are available and visible in the border and within the cluster markets
  • Develop specific promotions and trade incentives for respective area of operation
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing
  • Provide intelligence on exchange rate impacts and consumption trends
  • Train border-area distributors on business and profitability.
  • Achieve primary and secondary sales targets through distributor collaboration
  • Ensure perfect store execution (POS placement, stock rotation, pricing compliance)
  • Supervise and coach Sales Representatives in territory execution
  • Identify and develop new outlets and expansion opportunities
  • Resolve trade disputes and manage credit within policy limits
  • Work hand in hand with supporting functions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years FMCG field sales experience in Mbeya/ Iringa/Morogoro/Dodoma
  • Deep knowledge of the assigned territory's trade landscape
  • Strong coaching and team leadership skills
  • Active Driving license
  • High integrity and resistance to trade malpractice pressures.
