Marshall & Kurt Associates is an Independent Member of Daxin Global, an international accounting network. We are hiring an Audit Associate for our Tanzanian office. The ideal candidate should have strong qualifications, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists in the conduct of an audit engagement under supervision.
• Examines and verifies the accuracy of the client's financial statements and records.
• Conducts thorough analyses of gathered financial data.
• Assists with audit planning procedures using the firm's audit methodology.
• Ensures the completion of assigned tasks adhering to required auditing and reporting frameworks.
• Builds confidence in dealing with clients and knowledge of more in-depth tasks.
• Performs non-audit work such as recording accounting information, accounts reconciliation, preparation of trial balance, VAT Submission, and other statutory return submission.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Accounting Certificate or Diploma.
• A degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Candidate must be willing and able to undertake a relevant accounting professional qualification (ACCA/CPA).
• Any relevant experience will be an added advantage.
