JOB DETAILS:

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or in a related field from accredited higher learning institutions.
• A GPA of at least 4.0 out of 5 or B+ score in Master’s Degree and a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 in Bachelor Degree or its equivalent.
• Experience in teaching and research.
• Familiarity with core journalism subjects such as Newspaper Journalism, News Writing and Reporting, Print Media Production, Media Ethics, Media Law, Digital Media, and Emerging Communication Trends.
• Strong command of spoken and written English is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and tutorials under the guidance of senior staff.
• Assist in course material preparation and assessments.
• Participate in departmental research and academic activities.
• Support students in academic projects and provide academic advice.
• Pursue professional development and attend departmental meetings.
