Role Context
The Assistant Human Resources Officer role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates seeking to establish a career in Human Resource Management. The position involves supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee record management, attendance monitoring, employee welfare, and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
The Assistant Human Resources Officer will support the Human Resources Department in managing day-to-day HR activities and ensuring smooth administration of employee-related processes. The role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding activities for new employees
- Maintain employee records and update HR databases accurately
- Support attendance management and preparation of HR reports
- Assist in preparing HR documents, letters, and official correspondence
- Support employee welfare and engagement activities within the organization
- Ensure proper filing, storage, and maintenance of personnel records
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures across the company
- Monitor compliance with internal HR policies and labor regulations
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department as required
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Human Resources Department
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field

- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Knowledge of Tanzanian Labour Laws
- Willingness to work and reside in the Lindi Region
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, grow, and develop professionally
