JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
• Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will work with the Senior Accountant to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports which would inform management’s decision-making while ensuring controls have been adhered to.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process reimbursement forms.
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and general ledgers.
• Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
• Maintain digital and physical financial records.
• Perform or assist in the performance of month-end closing.
• Participate in financial audits.
• Perform quarterly stock taking and prepare a report.
• Keeping, recording fixed asset register and all other financial records.
• Assist on preparing of books of accounts and filling statutory returns.
• Supporting budget and forecasting processes.
• Perform all other duties as directed by his or her work supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS and SKILLS
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
• Good knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Sage).
• At least 2 years working experience in a reputable organization.
• CPA/ACCA/CA and audit experience are added advantage.
