JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
Sumwood Furniture Manufacturing is seeking a creative and experienced Architect responsible for designing and developing innovative furniture products that meet customer needs and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop furniture products that meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Create detailed design specifications, drawings, and models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conduct research to stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies.
• Develop and maintain design documentation and records.
• Work with the production team to ensure design intent is maintained during production.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture or related field (Industrial Design, Furniture Design).
• 2+ years of experience in furniture design or related field.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and SolidWorks (mandatory).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with furniture industry trends and market dynamics.
