ROLE PURPOSE

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and providing timely financial information to support business decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA (T) / ACCA / CIMA (partly qualified or above) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks or SAP).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations and monthly account reviews.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and statutory requirements.
• Assist in audits and respond to audit queries.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
