Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Accountant to join our team in Kongwa Dodoma, Tanzania.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the company’s financial and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, payments, and other accounting documents.
- Assist with budgeting and cash-flow management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Tanzanian tax and accounting requirements.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
- Assist with audits and provide required financial information.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Position open to students in the final year of their degree
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of Tanzanian tax and statutory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
