SUMMARY

We are seeking an Accountant Assistant to support financial management in our mining project, Chunya, Mbeya.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in financial transactions, bookkeeping, and ledger management
• Prepare invoices, payments, and accounting documents
• Reconcile accounts, ensure accuracy, and resolve discrepancies
• Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Maintain financial records, files, and documentation
• Assist in audits, compliance checks, and tax preparations
• Process payroll and employee expenses
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Support financial analysis and decision-making
• Do any other task relevant to the work as directed by the supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Good attention to detail and analytical skills
