Duties and Responsibilities
i. To type letters, reports, and confidential or secret documents.
ii. To receive guests, listen to their problems, and explain how they can be assisted.
iii. To maintain records of events, appointments, meeting dates, the schedules of their supervisor, and other work schedules.
iv. To search for and retrieve files and documents required for the execution of work duties.
v. To receive files and distribute them to the relevant Officers in the Department/Unit/Section.
vi. To collect, maintain, and return files and documents to their respective sections.
vii. To prepare minutes and make logistical preparations for various meetings.
viii. To prepare a list of office equipment and supply requirements.
ix. To perform any other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
Qualifications
Candidates must be Form Four or Form Six graduates holding a Diploma in Office Management (Uhazili) or an NTA Level 6 certificate in Office Management. Additionally, they must have passed a shorthand (stenography) subject in both Kiswahili and English at a speed of 100 words per minute and be proficient in office computer software such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email, and Publisher from any institution recognized by the Government.
