Job Purpose:

To ensure all camp accommodations, offices, and common areas are cleaned, sanitized, and maintained to a high standard, providing a comfortable and hygienic living environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and service assigned rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily (making beds, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing).
• Replenish room supplies (linens, toiletries, towels, tea/coffee).
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Handle and dispose of waste according to camp procedures.
• Launder and change bed linens as per schedule.
• Follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Assist with periodic deep cleaning projects.
• Work cooperatively in a team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Basic education certificate. Previous housekeeping experience is essential.
• Experience in a hotel, hospital, or remote camp setting is a strong advantage.
• Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good physical stamina.
• Training in basic health and safety will be provided.
