Job Purpose:

To ensure the reliable and secure operation of the site's computer networks, servers, and critical IT systems, providing technical support to users and maintaining IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment (routers, switches), and software.
• Monitor network performance and security, implementing fixes and upgrades.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory).
• Implement and monitor data backup, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity protocols.
• Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and software licenses.
• Liaise with corporate IT and service providers for escalated issues.
• Ensure IT systems comply with company policies and industry best practices.
• Document IT procedures and network configurations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in system and network administration.
• Experience in a remote site or industrial environment with VSAT/WAN technologies is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and network security principles.
