JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
The accountant will be responsible for managing all aspects of the SACCOS financial operations, including accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing financial guidance to the Board and members.
Qualifications
- Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a SACCOS or cooperative environment.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and computer applications.
- At least three years of experience in a SACCOS or financial management position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is an added advantage.

Level of Education: associate degree
