Training & Development Manager (1 Post)
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver/oversee training to individuals or groups of employees.
- Identify training and development needs within the organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes, and regular consultation with operations managers and human resources departments.
- Design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and the individual.
- Develop effective induction programs.
- Work in a team to produce programs satisfactory to all relevant parties in the organization.
- Manage the delivery of training and development programs and, in a more senior role, devise a training strategy for the organization.
- Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
- Ensure statutory training requirements are met.
- Liaise with the HR department to identify and assess training and development needs.
- Supervise and monitor progress made via training programs or schemes.
- Ensure employees receive statutorily required training.
- Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, attending meetings, and attending relevant courses.
- Make training schedules/plans for employees and clients.
Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Development Studies, Social Work, or related subjects.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a trainer.
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, at all levels of the company.
- Ability to work independently, confidently, and proactively, but also as part of a motivated team.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Well conversant with MS Office package, Excel.
Remuneration
Attractive salary package will be offered relating to competencies and experiences.
