JOB DETAILS:

KATAVI REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL

Responsibilities or duties,

• Examine patients referred to the unit;
• Maintain radiology equipment and machines;
• Assess X-ray images for diagnostic quality;
• Maintain patients’ images until reports reach referring doctors;
• Supervise subordinate staff;
• Provide advice on radiology and radiation matters;
• Prepare medical/diagnostic equipment and oversee sterilization processes;
• Orient newly assigned staff;
• Perform other duties related to education, experience, and skills as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),

• Holder of a three-year Diploma in Radiography/Radiology or related field from a Government-recognized institution and registered with the relevant professional board where applicable.
