JOB DETAILS:

• Description: As the Tanzania Country Lead for Development Gateway’s Soil Nutrition Roadmap project, you will manage client relationships, oversee project implementation, and drive stakeholder engagement with the Ministry of Agriculture and other partners. Responsibilities include stakeholder relationship management (30%), project management and implementation (40%), and data analysis (30%). This role requires creativity, leadership, and a commitment to improving soil health and farmer incomes in Tanzania.
• Eligibility Criteria:
  • Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s required in agriculture, development aid, data for international development, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in project implementation, technology development, or data for international development, preferably with governments and NGOs.
  • Experience in agriculture, fertilizer, or agronomy with established networks.
  • Fluency in English; proven track record in client relations and data analysis.
  • Ability to live and work legally in Tanzania.
  • Nice-to-have: Strong project implementation, presentation, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams; familiarity with data tools and nonprofit environments.
