Oceanland Hauliers Limited is inviting applications from motivated, passionate, and career-driven individuals seeking internship opportunities in the following departments:
STORE INTERN
- Support the Stores/Warehouse Department in managing inventory, supplies, and spare parts critical to fleet operations.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods (truck spare parts, tyres, lubricants, and office supplies) against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Stock Issuing: Issue materials to mechanics and drivers upon request, ensuring proper documentation via stock requisition forms.
- Stock Taking: Assist in conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies (shortages/damages).
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant store environment. Label shelves and ensure proper binning of items for easy retrieval.
- Data Updating: Update the stock management system (Excel or ERP) daily to reflect real-time inventory balances.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with the procurement team to flag low-stock levels and assist in raising reorder requests.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment.
