Purpose of the Role
To support the Business Divisions by ensuring effective monitoring and compliance with credit facility covenants (especially account turnovers), tracking the performance of business pipelines and actualizations, and providing timely performance analysis against set targets. The role will also involve proactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address gaps in business performance, thereby contributing to enhanced portfolio growth, revenue growth, and service excellence.
Summary of Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Track and monitor all credit facility covenants, with a key focus on account turnover compliance.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers and Credit Teams to ensure prompt action is taken on any observed breaches or impending non-compliance.
- Maintain an up-to-date covenant register and prepare periodic covenant compliance reports.
- Monitor the business deal pipeline across the division, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Track pipeline actualization rates and provide regular updates to the Business Heads.
- Highlight stalled opportunities and follow up with responsible officers to drive conversion.
- Track actual performance against business targets across key metrics (e.g., revenue, facility disbursements, account activity).
- Support periodic business reviews and strategy sessions with accurate data and insights.
- Engage Relationship Managers, Branch Managers, and Product Teams to highlight performance gaps and covenant issues.
- Support the development and implementation of remedial action plans where performance is lagging.
- Serve as a key liaison point between the Business and Support functions for matters related to performance tracking and covenant management.
- Participate in and support special projects or initiatives related to business transformation, growth, and operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in banking, preferably in credit, business support, analytics, or portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of credit facilities, financial covenants, and banking operations.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, MIS systems, etc.).
