Job purpose

The Sales Executive – Title Loans is responsible for identifying, marketing, and onboarding customers for the Company’s title-backed loan product.

This role is fully performance-based, with earnings derived through commission on successful loan disbursements and portfolio performance in accordance with the Company’s commission structure.

Key responsibilities

Sales and business development

The Sales Executive – Title Loans will be responsible for driving business growth by promoting the Company’s title loan products and generating new customer leads.

Key duties include:

  • Market and promote the Company’s title loan products to individuals and SMEs.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, field visits, and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned loan disbursement targets.

Client acquisition and onboarding

The role involves sourcing qualified customers and supporting them through the loan application and onboarding process.

Key duties include:

  • Source and onboard qualified customers.
  • Educate prospective clients on loan eligibility, requirements, repayment terms, fees, and conditions.
  • Collect, verify, and submit complete and accurate customer documentation for loan processing.
  • Ensure all customer information is genuine and compliant with company requirements.

Customer relationship management

The Sales Executive will be expected to maintain strong customer relationships and support repeat business.

Key duties include:

  • Develop long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan application process.
  • Educate customers on responsible borrowing and timely repayment.

Portfolio quality

The role requires active monitoring of repayment performance and support in maintaining a healthy loan portfolio.

Key duties include:

  • Monitor the repayment performance of customers introduced by you.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to encourage timely repayments.
  • Work closely with the Collections Team to minimize defaults and maintain a healthy portfolio.
  • Immediately report any suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or documentation irregularities.

Compliance and reporting

The Sales Executive must comply with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and reporting expectations.

Key duties include:

  • Adhere to all Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Submit weekly activity reports and sales updates.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Key performance indicators

Performance in this role will be measured against the following indicators:

  • Monthly loan disbursement value.
  • Number of new customers onboarded.
  • Loan approval conversion rate.
  • Portfolio repayment performance.
  • Customer retention and referrals.
  • Compliance with documentation and Company SOPs.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Marketing, Economics, Law, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ proven experience in selling, processing, or managing Title Loans or other secured lending products is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales and disbursement targets in a title loans or secured lending environment.
  • Strong understanding of property title verification, loan documentation, customer onboarding, and the title loan approval process.
  • An existing network of potential clients and referral partners within the title loans market will be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable using digital systems for reporting and customer management.
  • Must be willing to travel within assigned territories as required.

Remuneration

This is a commission-based position. There is no fixed monthly salary.

Successful candidates will earn commission based on loans successfully sourced, approved, disbursed, and maintained in good repayment standing, in accordance with the Company’s approved commission structure.

High-performing Sales Executives may be considered for future permanent employment opportunities based on business needs and performance.
