Role Summary

Our client, a leading provider of cutting-edge IT solutions, is expanding into the healthcare sector and seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive – Health Care to drive growth, build strong client relationships, and promote innovative technology solutions to hospitals, clinics, and medical institutions. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, deliver compelling sales presentations, and close deals to strengthen their presence in the healthcare industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and market analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Schedule and manage appointments with existing and potential clients.
  • Present and promote healthcare products to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Work towards achieving annual sales targets set by the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities to monitor performance and growth.
  • Collect, analyze, and prepare data-driven sales reports for decision-making, forecasting, and projection.
  • Assist in strategic planning and market development initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Biomedical Sciences).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical equipment.

Certification: Certification in Sales and Marketing is an added advantage.

Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Zanzibar health equipment market.

Core Skills:

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments while meeting established deadlines and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Ability to effectively interact with peers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to frequent changes in products and healthcare systems.
