Job Summary

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation. This role ensures that every guest enjoys a fresh, welcoming, and hygienic environment during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and dusting.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and clean windows and mirrors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, sinks, and fixtures.
• Replenish guest amenities such as toiletries, towels, and minibar items.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly.
• Handle guest requests for extra items (e.g., pillows, towels) courteously.
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good physical stamina and mobility.
• Attention to detail and pride in work.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
