Responsibilities or duties

• Lead the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical building services.
• Manage HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, water supply, drainage, and ventilation systems.
• Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical, and ICT teams.
• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, documentation, and quality delivery.
• Review and approve mechanical designs, technical submissions, and commissioning reports.
• Provide technical leadership to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely project delivery.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Expertise in mechanical building services, including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Sound knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, IPC, and relevant building codes.
• Strong understanding of testing, commissioning, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Must be a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and hold a valid practicing license.

Experience needed

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical building services for commercial or high-rise buildings.
