Job Summary:
The Procurement Clerk handles the fundamental clerical and data entry tasks within the procurement department, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Enter and update data in the procurement system, including supplier information, purchase orders, and delivery records.
- Filing & Organization: Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems for all procurement documents.
- Document Preparation: Assist in preparing basic procurement documents, such as delivery notes and simple purchase orders.
- Communication: Answer phones, take messages, and handle routine correspondence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a clerk or in a similar administrative role.
- Fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
