PLANNING OFFICER II
Duties and Responsibilities
A. ASSOCIATION PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT
- Plan, prepare, and implement the Association’s programme work plans and budgets;
- Supervise the day-to-day implementation of Association programmes to ensure they are carried out as planned;
- Ensure Association resources are utilized in accordance with approved plans;
- Monitor programme implementation to ensure the achievement of established objectives;
- Identify and resolve challenges arising during programme implementation;
- Coordinate communication among various Association stakeholders;
- Prepare programme progress reports and submit them to the Secretary of the Association;
- Perform daily operational and administrative duties as assigned by the Secretary;
- Carry out any other duties as directed by the Secretary of the Association.
B. ASSOCIATION PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Coordinate project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation;
- Prepare project proposals, budgets, and funding applications;
- Supervise project activities in accordance with approved work plans;
- Prepare project progress reports and submit them to the Secretary of the Association;
- Collect information for the preparation of plans and budgets and participate in their development;
- Manage relationships with development partners and Association stakeholders;
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Secretary.
Qualifications
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Planning, Investment Planning and Financial Development, Human Resource Management Planning, Economics, Statistics, Project Management, or Business Administration;
- At least two (2) years of experience in project and budget management;
- Ability to prepare project proposals and documentation;
- Proficiency in ICT, computer applications, and modern project management systems;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- Knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) will be an added advantage.
Salary Scale
